As we provide emergency food services, our first and foremost priority is to protect the health and well-being of all Stop community members, staff, and volunteers.

To keep our workplace healthy throughout this period, our staff and volunteers are following stringent precautionary measures such as frequent hand washing, sterilizing our work environments on an hourly basis (with a sign-in cleaning schedule), the use of rubber gloves (changed upon completing every task), and maintaining social distancing between staff and community members.

Our Food Bank has been reconfigured to maintain six feet of distance at all times.

All staff and volunteers who work in our facilities are instructed to self-isolate upon leaving the facility. The Stop is also providing extended, paid sick days and work-from-home arrangements to our employees upon request, no questions asked.

We are severely limiting the amount of staff and volunteers that are allowed on Stop premises at any time. This is managed through a strict sign-in and sign-out system.
