The Stop is recognized as one of the foremost non-profit agencies for student placements in Toronto. Every year, we welcome students from universities, colleges, and high school co-op programs. They’re provided with orientation, training, and supervision by experienced staff.
We’re committed to providing a placement experience that supports students’ learning goals in alignment with our work and mission. Students and staff work together to ensure the placement benefits both students and community members.
The Stop only accepts students from academic institutions that are registered and in good standing with the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, or their appropriate regional governing body.
Review the current placement opportunities below. Please note that ONLY the placements listed below are currently available. We thank you for your interest, but we ask that you not apply for student placements that are not available.
Select a placement opportunity, then download the application form (save the pdf to your computer before completing the form; save it with your name in the filename before you submit your application). Completed applications should be submitted along with a resume by email to [email protected].
After reviewing applications, we will invite candidates to a screening interview to ensure the best match between students’ interests and opportunities at The Stop. Please note that due to the large volume of applications we receive, we are only able to contact those who are selected for an interview.
