kitchens
The Stop's community kitchens provide opportunities for people together to enjoy nutritious meals, break down social isolation, collect community information and share ideas on how to eat healthily on a limited budget.
Meals Made Easy Community Kitchen
Hours: Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
This community kitchen has been running for over four years and it continues to grow, change and develop. Each week a group of community members get together, experiment and cook new recipes. The best part is eating them afterwards.
"(We) learn how to make dishes with meat and vegetables. You don't have to eat a lot of meat, but a little adds some variety. It's free-that helps. And we eat together, so we come for the socializing, as well."
