Good Food Market and Bake Oven
The Stop’s Good Food Market brings fresh and affordable fruits and vegetables into our community, while providing a safe and enjoyable space in which community members can gather. The market takes place weekly on Tuesdays, and often features live music, storytelling, baked goods, food demonstrations, documentary films, and an English conversation circle.
The produce we sell at the Good Food Market comes from FoodShare, a not-for-profit organization that promotes access to healthy and affordable food in Toronto. FoodShare sources the produce from the Ontario Food Terminal and local farmers. The market carries as much locally and organically grown produce as possible.
Fruits and vegetables are priced at wholesale, plus a small mark-up that covers some of FoodShare’s delivery costs. Our aim is to help strengthen the local food supply while increasing food security for our neighbourhood.
