Food for Change Dinner Series
Cost: $75 per person, $120 with wine. Kitchen crew $100 per person
Chef Chris Brown constructs a mouthwatering Italian-themed meal using local ingredients. For serious foodies and wannabe chefs, ten participants can experience life in a professional kitchen by joining the kitchen crew and assisting Chris in preparing the meal. It's a cooking class you'll never forget, taught by one of Toronto's finest chefs.
On the menu: heirloom cherry tomato salad, lightly smoked sable fish with fresh corn polenta, wild mushrooms, and bbq onion puree, Potato and pecorino ravioli, grilled bison over a celery root puree. Dessert: Dark chocolate terrine with a strawberry and red wine sorbet with candied basil
